The World beyond Exams

“THE WORLD BEYOND EXAMS”
Not all are born to become a doctor or engineer

                                                   Read this “모든 어린이는 특별하다
Are you able to read this? No? Let’s try once again. This time is serious and please concentrate.  watch the sentence again.
“Are you able to read this ?” No. Why are you making an excuse for not studying? If you aren’t able to read this, what we expect from your future? “Are you really serious about your career?”
Well, We guess none of you could able to read the sentence. Because none of you understand the language. Similarly, This is what happens when you expect a child to solve an algebraic equation which he hardly understands. or ask an average student to solve JEE Advance question paper. Do our career really depends on the exams we give ?  is exams are the only criteria to measure the intelligence of a child? The more specific answer is No. There is no such  Institution or college which can measure the intelligence of a child based on the exam scores. This most hysteric stereotype is when it comes to social respect nowadays plenty of parents making emphasis on making their kids to bookish and enforcing them study. In order to pressurize the child, we have to understand that every student has its own potential, his own interest, his own capabilities. not every child is born to become an engineer, a doctor or a scientist.  Yes, The exams are do matter in making a better future but to enforcing  someone to study which he/she never been fond off  isn’t seeking a better deal with his/her future . What children think their parents want for them can play a significant role in shaping the children's chances of future success and well-being. Parental pressure to excel in school can increase kids' risk of stress, as well as have a negative impact on kids’ well-being and success later in life. This is especially true if parents value grades and achievement over things like empathy, compassion, kindness.

India has one of the highest suicide rates among teenagers and young adults between the ages of 15 and 29. Failure in examinations is among the top 10 reasons for suicide in the country. education and academics have been the traditional focal points of stress. Parental pressure for children to excel in their studies has been unusually high.  the biggest failures of the Indian educational system and parenting in modern India are the inability to identify learning disabilities and considering academic failure to be the end of life. While some of the pressure on students and children may be attributed to the ‘No-Fail policy till Class VIII’, it is undeniable that a large amount of the pressure comes from the parents. Even in many states till today parents compel their wards to take up science and mathematics as subjects in high school in the hope that their children may become engineers or doctors. The children themselves may be interested in commerce or the arts or something related to their passion – a choice is completely ignored. because “Abba Nahi Manege”
Preventive Measure :
The Solution for the problem is seeking what your child wants to be and be supportive through his journey. It is important to take care of a child. it has the power of treatment,  there is an ointment that eradicates the pain, the child relieved that someone cares for him. Sometimes hugs and gifts to show that we care, we love. To make him comforted come to me if you are worried, what happens that you failed? Mistakes occurred and I’ll there with you.
After a long day, review your interactions with your child/ward. Have these interactions been one-sided or does your child have the right to disagree? Has your own behavior been compelling rather than understanding and inspiring?
Encouragement, coming from parents, can be a child’s stepping stone to success. You are a key player in your child’s life and shall be the one your child will depend on to teach him/her confidence, hard work, and excellence. It is also your responsibility to teach your child to accept failure without losing heart. Failure is a cue to seek newer opportunities and not an occasion for mourning.
Yet in the end to understand the thing that  “EVERY CHILD IS SPECIAL”……………………………… …. which is the meaning of the above Korean sentence.
